Review | Kiehl's | Ginger Leaf & Hibiscus Firming Mask

Last year I suffered a lot with my skin. Break-outs, scars... I couldn't make my skin feel and look nice. After a treatment with contraceptives (my problem had to do with my hormones), the eruptions stopped and my skin was ready to look as smooth as before... and the perfect product to do so came to me by itself −kinda!

Thanks to my subscription to Sephora Play I received a luxury-sized sample of the "Ginger Leaf & Hibiscus Firming Mask" from Khiels. As its name says, it's infused by Ginger and Hibiscus, two ingredients that I actually love to add to my drinks and food. I've tried a lot of Kiehl's face products before and loved all of them. Mostly it's Avocado Eyecream, which has made the dark circles under my eyes disappear! And I was so desperate to get my skin to look like what it was that I said: let's give it a try −and I'm happy I did!

Even knowing that it's an overnight mask, the texture was more solid than I expected but it evens out when applied evenly. It feels like shea butter but -thankfully- it's not greasy at all! Its slight scent of Ginger and Hibiscus is delicious, calming and not overwhelming. And the best part of this product is that results start showing from the very first use... The skin looks refreshed and plump and it feels hydrated, soft, smooth, more firm and healthy!

Thanks to this product the marks of past scars in my face disappeared and it also looks softer and brighter (not to mention that some wrinkles that started appearing don't look as bad as before!). It has even bettered the appearance of my dark circles!

I highly recommend this product. I know it can be a bit pricey but it will last A LOT, that I can assure you. I've been using the luxury-sized sample I received two or three times a week for two months and still got a little of product left!
